A little sad to say it but we’re half way through July! Will you be starting school up in August? Hopefully you’ve been doing a bit of school over the summer so you don’t have to do some back pedaling when your Back to School begins. Even if you haven’t there’s still time to get a little review in before you start back. This week I’m linking up with a team of teacher bloggers to talk about the best resources to use to prevent that “summer slide”. I hope you find some of these resources helpful in your homeschool. I have two resources to share with you today!
For my first resource on the Fun Summertime Blog Hop, I’m sharing a FREE resource designed for my soon to be First Graders!
Diary of a Worm Literature Pack!
If you missed my post earlier this summer you can click here to learn how we used this book to review Kindergarten skills and to introduce a few First Grade skills.
The only supplies you’ll need for this mini-unit is the book Dairy of a Worm. Then just print off the packet!
I created and used this spiral math skill packet with my Second Graders to make sure they were retaining important math facts throughout the year. This is a 10 day packet with 5 to 6 problems to solve daily. Skills included in this packet are number sense, addition, and subtraction.
Since it is the later part of July, I’ve reduced this packet by 50%! That means you get the whole 10 day packet for only $1!
To get both of these printables visit my store at my Little Log Cottage School TpT Store!
