We’re working on another fun, informative bible lesson from Grapevine! This time we are learning about The Resurrection!
During this 9 lesson study students will learn about the Passover and the Last Supper. They will understand the great price Jesus paid as he was beaten, questioned, crucified and died. They will rejoice over the victory of The Resurrection as they draw their way through Jesus’ victory over death. This is a great lesson for kids of all ages.
What’s Included in the Study

- The Religious Trials

- Jesus Went to Heaven
The teacher book and student book are needed for this study. This time I choose the traceable study for my PreK and Kindergarteners because they aren’t confident drawers. They would rather trace and color in the pictures. My Second Graders like to draw their own stick figures, so I put blank sheets of paper in their binders so they could design their own books. They also like to review the story by reading through their books before every lesson!
My kiddos are getting more creative as we complete a study. This time the kids added little features on the stick figures. My 6 year old Pixie likes to draw and color her stick figures just like the examples in the teacher’s book. That’s one of the reasons I love these studies, because everyone can be as creative or precise with their drawings as they want. They have developed a deeper understanding of the Easter story through this study. When I bake bread for dinner the kids reenact the last supper by breaking the bread. They are understanding the significance of communion on Sunday mornings. It’s been so exciting to see them connecting and applying the story in their daily lives.
